Rainier Concert Choir

This auditioned choir is for students in grades 5 - 9 and meets twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays 5:00 – 6:30 PM. These treble boys and girls perform unison to six part treble music and membership requires some music reading skills, and the ability to harmonize and sing independently. Daily home practice and home theory study are also expected. This is our main performing group. In addition to the three major concerts per year, this group is called upon frequently for other performances throughout the school year, including on the Argosy Christmas Ship and community events. Singers are expected to attend the fall retreat and participate in the spring tour. Membership requires a year-long commitment with regular, on-time attendance at all rehearsals and performances.
